Would you like to see young people gain concrete skills for organizing their stuff? Wouldn’t it be great if they eventually learned how to troubleshoot homework on their own? This workshop will focus on how to integrate academic and homework habits into the standard ‘homework time,’ helping young people to practice the habits that can make them self-sufficient and more confident in school over time. Come to see examples of how to help students track their progress and celebrate these habits, a culture-building element that can help ‘homework time’ take on a new life. Not focusing on academics? Similar structures and tools can be used for social/emotional, career or leadership habits as well. Workshop will include time to develop and refine your own plan using tools and examples.
